El rock sinfònic,va ser un gènere musical de principis dels 70´s,que injustament no va suportar bé el pas del temps.
Un exemple de aquest estil són els Camel,un grup amb complexos ritmes i música experimental.
Formats el any 1972 a Surrey,la formació original era Andy Latimer(guitar,flute,vocals),Andy Ward(drums),Doug Ferguson(bass),i Peter Bardens(Keyuboards),anteriorment al grup Them.
El segon album,“Mirage”(1974),conté meravellosos sols instrumentals.
Es un disc amb un so caracteristic,on destaquen el teclista Pete Bardens,i el guitarra Andy Latimer.
Cal esmentar la suite “Lady Fantasy”,amb un llarg sol de guitarra que es un clàssic dins al rock progressiu.
El tercer àlbum,es al millor exemple de rock progressiu “The Snow Goose” (1975),un album conceptual i instrumental on es narra una història d’ amor,entre un cavaller que desapareix durant una guerra,i la seva princesa que es troba amb una oca blanca després de la batalla.
Aquesta fabula representa l’esperança de l’amor,davant de la guerra.

Los Sherpas,fueron el grup de música rock instrumental mes importante de la Costa Brava.Fueron los inicios de la música rock en directo,tocaban en Salas de Fiesta,y con estas canciones melódicas instrumentales la gente bailaba los lentos con su pareja.Aún no habian disc-Jockeys que pinchaban los discos,las discotecas llegarian más tarde.Grupo de música pop de los años 60´s en Sant Feliu de Guixols,con varias formaciónes,la más estable fué: Frances Más(Guitarra solista y voz),Joan Canadell(Bateria),Josep Camp(Guitarra ritmica),i Jordi Camps(Bajo).

(Casino La Constancia),Jaume Garcia (Radio Sant Feliu),i grups musicals de la época:Els Sherpas,Albatros Klub,Lone Star (Pere Gené),amb motiu de que als Lone Star van tocar en directe al Casino La Constancia al any 1967.
Una actuació de grato record per als fans ya que va ser al primer cop que actuaven al poble un grup de relevancia i prestigi de la música pop ye-yé,als anys 60´s.
Albatros Klub,era un lloc on es reunian uns amics per gaudir de las festes i las creacions
artisticas.
Formaron un grup musical,Albatros Klub,i ensayavan al local,tots els diumenges a la tarda.
Als inicis tocaven versions dels Doors,Animals,Shadows….
Al 1968,Alfons Hereu membre del club,estrena la primera película “Snap”,que obtingué la medalla
d´Or,en el Festival de cine amateur de la Costa Brava.
Al 1969,van fer una obra musico-vocal sobre la temática del Apolo XI.

Inspirats en la original British Invasion,als anys 60s destacan aquest grups als US:The Sonics,The 13th Floor Elevators,The Standells,The Electric Prunes,The Remains,Count Five,The Seeds….
Durant als anys 80´ torna amb força el garatge rock revival,i llavors les discográficas editan varios recopilatoris en vinil com Nuggets,Back from the grave,o Pebbles,on surten molts de aquest grups de garatge punk i sicodélics,amb una estructura básica de guitarra,baix,bateria,i veu.
Es un gran recopilatori de grups de garatge punk,encara que als discos son grabats amb poca dinámica de só,sense utilitzar les masters de audio.
Album de edició pirata,es un material recopilatori que inclou als volumens originals de Pebbles 1,2,3, i al 5,a més de singles i altres temas del recopilatori Nuggets,que forman el volumen 4.

Superstar i Artista Pop Andy Warhol,promociona a The Velvet Underground entre als anys 1965-1970.Gracies als concerts,performances per la Exploding Plastic Inevitable,films,i prensa musical,..als Velvet seran uns idols per la generation Beat,a New York.
Brian Eno després de escoltar el primer disc “The Velvet Underground & Nico”,diu que aquest disc només al compra gent que més tard forma un grup de música.Per aquells temps,Eno,va tocar amb Roxy Music.
Un gran disc aquest de la “banana”,que es comparat amb el “Sgt. Pepper´s”.
John Cale toca el violin amb sons de guitarra distorsionats i avant-garde,Lou Reed a la guitarra i cantant,pro com eran 2 genis incompatibles deixan el grup aviat,Nico artista i gran icono,també deixa el grup després del primer disc.A més,Sterling Morrison que toca al baix,i Maureen Tucker les percussions.

Recorded “On air”,with a Sony Stereo portable Minidisc.
Time-Lag records was an independent label located in a rural place near Maine,US.The name came from a Time-Lag accomulator musical system,than was played on Terry Riley-“A Rainbow in curved air” album,and it´s about “the synchronicities of Life/Music”,in words of the one man label,Nemo Bidstrup.
Nemo´s started on 2000 year,he run the label and does the art/design/printing and fabrication,too.Every vinyl release is pressed in heavy 180gr vinyl,with a good sounding as source cames from master-tapes,and finally the artwork packaging is just amazing,as it´s made artesanal and with a handpainted way folk styles,like those 60´s labels as,ESP,Takoma,Folkaways..
Nemo has sold hundred of thousands lps,during the last 20 years,like some reissued obscure psychedelic albums from the west-coast 60´s,like Drywater,The Bachs,or Stephen David Heitkotter.Also,Six Organs of Admittance,Fursaxa,Visitations,Joshua Burkett,The Patron Saints..in experimental folk-rock,style.
Sadly the label closed the activity last 2015,with over 60 time-lag releases and organized about 200 live shows,too.

La única televisió pública TVE ,la radio,RNE,las salas de concerts,la prensa musical,ilas discográficas,tots eran a Madrid.
Dins la politica la mort del dictador,La constitució, i el alcalde Socialista a Madrid,van alliberar les novas tendencias artísticas,l´art,cinema,música i el comic.
Las ciutats industrials,el desempleo i un estat d´depressió i fatiga, tenen als joves en crisis.
Asi dons, la música i el oci nocturn ,serán una escapada per una societat gris.
A Inglaterra el punk rock dels Sex Pistols, i NewWave(Wire,Fall,Joy Division,Bauhaus,Siouxsie…),neixan a ciutats industrials com Liverpool,o Manchester.
Als nous grups independents de Madrid,escoltan aquest nou estil musicals,afegin una nova identitat ,per ser diferents i no una simple copia de un estil ya existen.
Als USA,durant els anys 60´s,molts nois universitaris sabían tocar una guitarra eléctrica,i formaron un grup de rock´n´roll,per gaudir de la música.
A Espanya,”La Movida” va ser molt mes minoritaria,i si un grup era popular només editaron 1.000 copias impresas en LP.
Yo vaig gaudir a la Sala Zeleste del carrer Platería molts d´aquest concerts, i vaig grabar-los amb un casete walkman stereo,per compartir la música amb altres aficionats que recordaran amb certa nostalgia el post-punk i la onda siniestra durant els 80s.
Una música amb ritual,mágia,vestuari negre,guitarras distorsionades i punk rock,que formaron els nostres arrels musicals.
